The Add Directory button allows you to create File SmartFolder sub-folders under the File SmartFolder you are currently in. This is similar to creating sub-directories on the users local hard disk. This option is very handy for complex projects that need many directories to keep files organized. You can create an unlimited number of sub-SmartFolders.

Click on the Add Directory button to bring up the Add SmartFolder window. In this window, fill out the SmartFolder name and determine the security settings. Click Finish to add the new File SmartFolder.
