The procedure to Change SmartFolder Security is the same as when managing the security settings under the Add New SmartFolder at the Site Level. There are four sections to the Change SmartFolder Security Window:
SmartFolder Display Name: This will be the name given to the SmartFolder. It can be modified in this window.
Disable email notifications on this SmartFolder check-off box: allows you to eliminate email notifications for all activity within this SmartFolder.
Replace Security on Child SmartFolders check-off box: Checking off this box will change the security settings on all SmartFolders below this Project Level SmartFolder. Only check this box if all SmartFolders within this Project should have the same security settings.
Current security settings for the SmartFolder: This window will allow you to scroll through the current security settings to see if you need to actually make any modifications.

To change the security settings, click on the change security button. The Change Security window will appear for you to add and remove users from the project.

The upper window shows all available users. When you are in a Project Level Folder that is directly under the Site Level, this list will include every user on the Construction LS server.
In the middle of the window, options are provided to control SmartFolder level access. There are four types of access available to users:
Read Only - for viewing only
General User - file upload and download permission only
Master Editor - full permission except change security
SmartFolder Administrator - full permission
To change the SmartFolder security, select a user that you want to add from the upper window. Their name will become highlighted and the access box will become active. Select the desired access level and press the Add button.
All users with access to the SmartFolder will be listed in the lower window. To remove a user, select their name in the lower window and press the remove button.
When finished, clicking the OK button will return you to the Change SmartFolder Security window. Pressing the Finish button will complete the process of changing the security.
