Description

InQuest Technologies is seeking a Project Manager to lead IQ9 implementations as a key member of our Professional Services organization.  The Implementation Project Manager will lead a team of project resources and provide delivery management on multiple client engagements. A background in workflow / BPM, construction management, asset management, or project management software is preferred.

Position Responsibilities

  • Lead project teams during requirements, analysis, design, build, and rollout of InQuest IQ9
  • Create and manage the scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables through the application of planning, tracking, quality assurance, change control, and risk management
  • Utilize resources and adhere to schedule dates to ensure successful project completion and client satisfaction.
  • Facilitate communication with internal (i.e. engineering, sales, etc.) and client teams
  • Document and communicate project status with timely identification, tracking and resolution of project risks and issues.
  • Act as a subject matter expert with all functions of the implementation process to client representatives, as needed.
  • Define and manage projects, to meet engagement objectives and budget
  • Utilize and apply best practices on projects, gleaned from experience and consultation with experts; appropriately tailored for the client and their culture
  • Be hands on reviewer to ensure highest quality project deliverables
  • Work closely with the Engineering, Product Management and Operations teams to assist with the definition of customer needs/requirements, test development processes and rollout to the Client.
  • Manage project financials including budgets, timely billing and collection
  • Demonstrate thought leadership by writing or contributing to published articles, practice methodologies and tools, whitepapers.

Requirements

  • A bachelors degree in computer science or business is preferred.
  • PMI Certification is desirable.
  • 5+ years experience managing the successful implementation of enterprise software applications is an absolute requirement.
  • Project Management experience in the telecommunications, energy, architecture, engineering and construction industries is preferred.
  •  Experience working with leading workflow / BPM systems and CAD / GIS systems is a plus.
  • Experience working for a leading professional services organization like Accenture, Booze Allen, SAIC, Wipro, AT Kearny or a leading software company like Documentum, ESRI, Maximo or SAP in their services organization is preferred.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies
  • Ability to develop project designs, work plans, budgets, and schedules
  • Strong team leadership, organizational, communication, and motivational skills.
  • Superior interpersonal skills, ability to work well with others.
  • Analytical problem solving skills.
  •  Ability to multi-task, handle external and internal issues such as project deliveries, timelines, workflow, presentation work, etc.
  • Deadline and detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task and juggle multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Project Management tools, including MS Project
  • Up to 25% travel is required
